Junior Athletes Training Specialist (JATS)

As a JATS you will learn:

  1. the components of a long-term athletic development program.
  2. training principles specific to developing future champions.
  3. the specifics for training motor skills, flexibility, speed, strength and power, and endurance training for young athletes.
  4. how to plan and monitor to prevent stress and burnout. 

Prerequisites for JATS Certification:

Personal trainer certification (i.e. A.C.E. / C.P.T.N./Can Fit Pro etc.) Professional liability.
